ON RESERVATIONS

Assertion 1: caste is a non existent entity
Assertion 2: examination systems in India are just exercises to differentiate people from one another into simple groups based merely on
a) Least no: of parameters possible and
b) On most convenient methods available.
Assertion 3: there Is originally just three varnas-brahmin, kshatriya and vaishya. Inferior individuals (where thamo guna predominates) in each class come under sudra.
Eg: a doctor who is merely interested in research is a pure Brahmin (jnanayogi). A doc who uses his knowledge to treat and serve people and fight disease is a kshatriya (a karmayogi). A doc who treats without desire for reward is a Kshatriya - Brahmin. A physician who treats for money alone is a Vaishya (not vesya hehehe).doctors in noida and metros who do organ trade are sudras.
Reason 1: caste was framed initially on the basis of occupation not on heredity. In a religious society it is very easy to manipulate religious beliefs to tailor the needs of a select minority. Especially when the educated are not interested in educating the uneducated.
Reason 2: when resources are limited and number of people demanding those are too much and level of sophistication is not high this is the obvious result.
Reason 3: the no: three is considered more powerful than four. In ayurveda man is classified into sathwa, rajo and thamo guna ..(Humors are vata pitta and kapha) by various permutations and combinations we find that the system works quite satisfactorily in varying treatments between individuals and even within individuals (note : allopathy is still to enter the age of designer drugs or individual oriented prescription).
Examples of Bizzare logic!!!!!!!
Around 40000 people appear in the same exam. 40 people are to be selected A person who gets 40000th rank comes and occupies the first seat while all the 39k fools who wrote the exam watch (In silent admiration!!!!!??????) just because 4 or 5 generations back his ancestor was harassed by the ancestors of those people who come above him in the rank list and that too in the name of social justice!!!!!!! That’s Indian logic.imagine people standing in a que do so bcos they believe in justice (else the strongest must occupy the first positions ) but then some break the que that too in the name of justice..what prompts u to call this justice?
